March 12, 2025The C-Type was built by Jaguar from 1951 to 1953. and was highly successful, winning Le Man twice in both 1951 and 1953. A strong and lightweight spaceframe chassis, a beautiful aerodynamic body, Jaguar’s brilliant XK twin cam 6 cylinder engine and the innovative adoption of disc brakes proved to be an unbeatable combination. It is believed only 53 cars were built in total.
